Landscape painting

The painting "The Flood" by Francis Danby shows a well-known biblical scene. In the Old Testament, people read that in the days of Noah, people were wicked, so God decided to destroy them by a flood. Noah and his family were able to save themselves in the ark, which can be seen in the background in the light of the moon. The painting shows the despair of the people and the imposing power of the waves. The bright red rising sun and the colors of the sea are breathtaking.

The Deluge by Francis Danby. Available as an art print on canvas, photo paper, watercolor board, uncoated paper or Japanese paper.
