A fragmented figure in frontal view dominates this almost square format. A bright vermilion dominates, which has been processed in two different techniques, oil and acrylic, which leads to different shades. Minimal remnants of the silvery, warm gray of the unprimed canvas balance the strong color of the picture; Lines run across the sculpted upper body; In the lower third, holes from nails that had another canvas attached to the studio wall extend as a line across the figure. Chance helped shape it, but was deliberately involved.
