| With Frieda in limed gray, the designers have created a painting frame in the Ambiente 2 series that expresses the joy of life of Shabby Chick. Shabby Chick always means being an object alive - this is particularly well done here with the old style of Frieda. The real wood bar has been painted with a fairly light gray. A special effect is the way the color works. As if it were too thickly applied acrylic paint, with a penchant for opaque white, whereby the viewer can literally follow the brushstrokes with which he worked. The Shabby Chick is strengthened by the fact that it looks as if the painting was done a long time ago and the first color parts seem to be detaching from the wood again. However, this was done on three lines that were specifically processed in this way; one on the outside and two more on the inside. The dark wood of the bar underneath is shown in them, which in turn provides a nice contrast to the gray. On the gray, the wood grain also appears particularly original. The restrained design leaves plenty of scope for the choice of the art print to be framed - everything actually fits Frieda. |
