| The decorative frame Lelia from the Aura frame series is graceful. Thanks to an unusual color combination by the designers, this 25x22 mm real wooden bar has the character of a noble frame that every gallery is only too happy to have as a companion for selected art prints. Blue with gold is the color scheme that is so special because it is about opposite colors in the color wheel, so-called complementary colors. These have the property that they mutually reinforce each other in their intensity. This can be seen all too clearly on the Lelia frame. With the processing of the majestic blue in connection with the filigree gold strips, the designers have achieved a masterpiece. The wooden strip is made in an S shape. The upper part of the S is in blue, which in turn has been worked with light and dark shades to create a contrasting blue. This extends into the lower S, but was optically designed by a light blue layer of subtle color application to a clever color gradient. A triple bar forms the end of the interior, with the blue appearing again in the middle, which is surrounded at the top and bottom by the bright, delicate gold bars. At first glance, art connoisseurs could establish an association with the impressionist Vincent van Gogh, who often made this mix of colors their subject, in "Der Schnitter", "Mittagsrast" or even the "Weizenfeld mit Raben". |
