Painting Frames "Liz" |

| The Sofia series shows another black painting frame in an unusual design for the Liz model. The designers seem to have given their imagination free rein in this frame, so that a real wooden strip emerged that more resembles a painting than a frame. They didn't even use a lot of colors, rather it was black, which was used in several shades to create a special pattern on the bar. The depth effect that results solely from the application of the color is a feat of the designers. They literally created a tiny portico on the middle frame. Like column capitals, white-colored accents come down from above that move visually like a column towards the inner frame. The black gaps between the apparent columns are so skilfully painted that the spatiality can be felt directly when viewed. This artistic spectacle is embedded above and below in narrow combinations of strips. While it is a simple edging with a central notch at the bottom, the end strip appears at the top in the form of a small wave that moves into the room. Not only the Parthenon itself can be framed here, there are many works of art that have ancient sites as their subject. |
