| The frame series Fancy 2, which specializes in thin, simple frames, once again proves that even narrow frames with a total width of just 26 mm and a height of 20 mm from the wall are a decent companion for selected art prints. One of these models is Melanie with the color red-brown with a silver edge. The upper, rounded bar has been given a color gradient that begins at the top in a reddish white and darkens towards the center until a reddish brown forms the end of the next bar. In the bend in the wood, the reddish brown comes into its own, so that it has pushed itself onto the following silver bar. Here it looks almost like a light pink on the silver color. This color combination is sure to find the right partner when searching for pictures for Melanie. Various works from Rococo, a time when painters preferred to use pastel shades, go very well with Melanie. The pink character of Melanie is increasingly seen in paintings by the painters Francois Boucher, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo and Jean Honoré Fragonard.
