| Narrow, narrower, Melissa - the dimensions that the Melissa painting frame brings with it make it a particularly delicate frame. Both in width and height it is just 15 mm, which measures the wooden strip. Generally, it is narrow, simple strips that the Antiko frame series presents. With Melissa, however, a special effort has been made to create an adequate decorative frame on a minimal surface. A rectangular narrow bar makes the beginning on the outside of the frame, so to speak, introduces the small spectacle. This is followed by Melissa's main molding, a curved, soft and smooth arch. This curvature ends in a groove that forms the border with the final part inside the frame. This, in turn, runs inward at about a 45 degree angle toward the subject of the image. Melissa was provided by the designers with a friendly medium brown and thus shows itself as a representative of a real wooden frame. The impression of rustic oak is reinforced by black line elements that represent a grain. The black is repeated on the outer strip as well as in the delimiting notch. Brown and black create a handsome contrast on the painting frame, which will impress many art lovers who want to frame their favorite painting with Melissa. |
