Painting Frames "Milana" |
Pewter • Serie: Ferrosa I • Width: 55mm • Height: 35mm |
With the Milana model, the Ferrosa picture frame series presents another heavy-looking, metallic frame that is second to none. Designed in Pewter, the designers have opted for a model in a fancy pewter look that has been particularly successful. Milana actually comes closer to a tin frame than the real wood frame, which served as the basis for this perfect design. The overall width is 55 mm and the height at which it projects into the room at the highest point is 35 mm. This highest point can be seen right at the top outer edge, here a small wooden wave with an outwardly curved hump appears, which ends in a round shape in a strictly delimited groove. The broad main bar follows this and, unlike its counterpart, bulges inwards. But only slightly until it ends in a small curve in the middle of the frame. This wooden ensemble has been given the special tin-like coating. A wonderfully silky matt gloss gray in various lighter and darker shades was worked over the wood, which looks like metal due to the surface technology. Various dent shapes have been added to the horizontal brush stroke, as well as additional accents in the form of filigree black dots and holes. |
