| Valentina, one of our most beautiful baroque real wood frames, impresses with its delicate ornamentation, traditional coloring and perfect craftsmanship. The Venetian Baroque style picture frame is first treated with a chalk base and reddish brown poliment before the frame makers apply a layer of gold leaf metal using the Schabin technique, gently rubbing it through onto the poliment and discreetly patinating it. The intermediate surfaces are painted reddish brown on a moving base, and finally the entire Italian Baroque frame surface is waxed to perfect the authentic antique look. |
