The Mintered Garden stretches across the picturesque mid-south region of England, and the sight of it left a deep impression on my artistic soul. When I visited this enchanting landscape paradise, I was mesmerized by its timeless beauty and the vast scale of the park. I found inspiration for my artwork in the breathtaking views of this expansive garden, which is actually more like a park.
On my return to Berlin, I immersed myself in the sketches I had made on site and began working in the studio on fascinating paintings to capture the impressions and emotions of this extraordinary place.
Although the present painting may appear unremarkable at first glance, it hides an extraordinary fascination that is revealed on closer inspection. The fine details of the leaves, the mysterious shading under the majestic trees and the organic surface of the pond are extremely inviting and give the painting a calming presence. The sky is an unusual turquoise, which is characteristic of my penchant for bold colors and color combinations.
Combining the elements of water, lake, wind, trees, leaves, tree, reflection, shore, summer and waters, the painting invites you to capture the magic of the Mintered Garden on your walls and open a window to this idyllic English landscape.
